Tips for Health Professionals
|
|
| Families who are active together are helping to reduce their risk of high
blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, diabetes, stroke and certain types
of cancer. Exercise can strengthen bones, muscles, joints, heart, and lungs
of everyone in the family. Children and Adolescents need 60 minutes/day of
physical activity on most days. Adults require 30-minutes/day daily physical
activities.
