Diet Tech Glacier Hills 6/17/2010

The Care and Rehabilitation Center at Glacier Hills, Ann Arbor's premiere skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, is seeking a DIET TECH who works eight (8) hours per week. This person will: - Conduct nutritional screens on new admissions - Perform nutrition assessments - Support the clinical dietitian in establishing and monitoring of nutrition risk parameters - Conduct routine visitation to obtain and assess resident food preferences, allergies and intolerances; - Consult with medical staff, nursing staff and other team members to obtain objective data and to develop nutrition plans/goals to meet resident needs - Translate complex nutrition requirements of residents to appropriate dining service staff to ensure resident care and treatment approaches are correctly performed - Ensure that nourishments/supplements are ordered, prepared, delivered, consumed and monitored appropriately - Calculate data obtained from food intake records, calorie counts and intake/output records - Document information according to facility policy Interested and qualified applicants may submit their application via our website - www.glacierhills.org/employment or faxing their resume to: recruiter@glacierhills.org
